experience of traveling the hard way which should come in handy on the expedition youre planning. By the way, Im a great guitarist so I can keep you all amused round the campfire at night.

At the age of 15 I completed a work experience placement in the localjunior school. This involved working with children from the ages of four toeleven. This experience, though not medical, allowed me to work with and helppeople, which I found especially rewarding. During the summer holidays I plan toparticipate in a period of work experience at Carmarthen Hospital. I have alsoregistered to take part in a St Johns Ambulance first aid course in September2001, which I hope will be beneficial to me. I have undertaken volunteer work ata local school, helping with both art and gym clubs, which again have allowed meto work with children, which I find very satisfying
In the past I have travelled to Switzerland, Italy and Ireland, allexperiences I totally enjoyed. In the future I would like to travel further afield, particularly to Asia. I would also like to help third world countries,and to work as a doctor for charities helping these countries. As well astravelling I enjoy reading, especially horror and medical fiction, by authorssuch as Steven King and Michael Crichton. Recently I have joined Tai Chiclasses, and I attend these regularly along with aerobics. I also take stepaerobics classes and attend the gym at the nearby leisure centre. These are allactivities I hope to continue with through university, as well as taking up newones.

我们是11级外语系商务英语七班的全体同学，在校训“求真、务实、敬业、创新”的指引下，我们努力学习、团结合作、思想上进，不负家长和老师众望都取得了优秀的成绩。转眼间，我们的大学生活已经过去了二分之一。经过一年半共同的学习生活，五百多个日日夜夜的朝夕相处，我们商英七班已经完全凝聚成一股力量，坚不可摧。我们在学习上互相进步，在生活上互相帮助，亲如一家人，所以我们有信心，也完全有理由申请“先进班集体”这个荣辱称号。下面我将从学习、生活、思想等各方面详细阐述:
1、积极健康向上的班级风气
我们班向来以出勤率高、迟到少、听课认真且学习气氛活跃的学风著称。上课时，我们班极少有打瞌睡的同学，凡遇到需要发言的时候都抢着站起来，恐怕大家不知道自己的想法，所以任课老师们都特喜欢上我们班的课，一个劲夸赞我们班的学风活跃。大班一起上课时，坐前排的都是我们班的同学，虽然我们班大都是女同学，回答问题时我们可都是女中豪杰。我们班的同学大都来自农村，深知能在这优美的学习环境学习是多么来之不易，所以我们尤其珍惜，无论是课上课后，学习热情不曾减过。尽管学校不要求自习，同学们一有空还是会到自修室学习，谁也不愿服输，谁也不愿落下。就这种“你争我赶”的`学习风气推动我们向上，显然，从我们优秀的学习成绩可以看出我们付出的努力是有收获的。
2、多姿多彩的文体活动
考虑到我们班同学体质较差，严重缺少体育锻炼，我们经常组织同学们参加体育活动和文娱活动。例如“篮球局”“羽毛球局”“慢跑局”等等，根据同学们的兴趣爱好开展不同的活动，班干部们以身作则号召大家一起参与。两全其美。体质好了，请病假的同学也几乎为零。另外，学院举办的“英语口语”大赛、“模拟广交会”、“模拟商业街”等等文娱活动我们班同学都积极参与，不仅提高了英语口语能力，还开阔了视野，同时在参与的过程也体验到创作的快乐。
3、丰富的班级文化生活
为了丰富同学们的课余生活，团支书和组织委员联合其他班干部组织了一系列的团体活动，疯狂k歌释放压力、骑自行车游玩韶关、放风筝重温童真、爬山挑战生活、打火锅享受冬天……生活上我们常聚在一起，大聚小聚已不计其数。大家一起吃饭、唱歌、娱乐、运动、学习，一起畅谈人生，憧憬未来，一提起这个大家庭就让人觉得温暖。
4.团结有效的领导核心
一个优秀的团体肯定离不开一个有力的组织。班长统筹全局，副班严抓考勤，团支书汇报思想，学委监督学风,组委组织活动……各班干分工明确，各司其职，责任心强并能起到模范作用，积极投入到先进班集体的建设中。
以上便是我们班在XX-XX间大致的学习、思想、生活情况，尽管取得了一定成绩，但我们并不骄傲，未来的路还很长，不管能否成为优秀班级体，我们都不会放弃，“心若在，梦就在”，我们将长期的为更加出色的自己，更加优秀的班级体而奋斗！
